This is new to me so I had to Google it! Very attractive and doesn't seem to be rampant, no wonder you're so pleased with it :)

Thankyou ,I'm growing it in a pot because I don't want to risk losing it in the winter ,it's a climber I expect ( I hope ) it will have hundreds of these flowers going right up to the top of it's support canes

I find it very hardy here Amy...I've had it for about 8 years and it comes back each year...Its a climber, mine grows up through next doors Leylandii hedge...Nice through pale Clematis too...Needs moisture and some shade at the roots...If it likes the position its in, it will thrive...Its not rampant at all Gee...:>)

Thanks Sandra ,
I didn't know they were that hardy Motinot thanks for the info. I was prepared to treat it with Kid gloves . the first time I ever saw one it was growing through a Leylandi hedge I have wanted one ever since :o))

Thanks David It's all down to you ,isn't it gorgeous ? it had an abundance of flowers blooming this year , I still have it in a large pot with canes to support the plant / flowers I'm afraid I haven't quite had the courage to put it out in the garden yet I can see some new growth which I think are new plants growing round the edges , I will take some of them off when the plant has died down repot some and then they can go in the garden next year ..x

As you know, Amy, I have never had any luck with this vine, a personal favourite, which grows so well in some areas, but not others. I think that your cautious approach to planting it out straight away has paid dividends. It would be marvellous if the "babies" grew into separate plants, too. :-)))
