That is a beautiful picture, never mind the subject but the flower is also spectacular. Bravo. I can't seem to grow it in this climate.

Some daphnes are much tougher than others. Most of the ones I grow aren't considered cold hardy for me but only a few had slight winter damage. If you have good drainage and enough snow cover, you could probably grow this one. Have you tried Carol Mackie daphne? That is one of the most cold hardy varieties and an easier one to grow too.
