I've never had this ground orchid before but it seems to be as tough as old boots, Andy, and it just keeps on flowering. Brilliant little thing!

Wow! That's great it's ever-blooming. It sounds like the Epidendrum orchid hybrids here (they always have blooms).

Thanks Pennyfarthing. Winter here doesn't really deserve to be called 'winter'! It really is a great time of year and it's what keeps us going throughout the horrid summers. Eventually we know the summer will end and we'll get a break from the heat, humidity and fierce sunshine for a few months.
