It's my patch of tropical lushness on this dry patch of a property. It's a terrific micro-climate out there where the ferns and tropicals can flourish.

It looks great! I love the Ctenanthe oppenheimiana 'tricolor'. I've had one in my front yard under the trio of Pygmy Date palms (Phoenix roebellenii) for almost 4 years.

The foliage colours are just brilliant, aren't they? That wire hanging basket on the tiles is now hanging up and has my one and only Hoya in it. I'm still waiting patiently for it to flower.

Yes, it is brilliant!
Hoya usually blooms so easily...is it getting enough sun. Hoya needs some full sun to bloom well.
