Wow, this looks great, what form of colocasia is this? And correct me if I'm wrong (still relatively new to all this) but the fern by the water feature is asplenium? We discovered one growing in the front garden and moved it to the back last year.

Yes Sharon, it is a colocasia, a black taro and I think you are right about the fern (my memory is not too good at the moment). I picked one from the wild in Wales a few years ago and it has since colonalised in my garden.

I've grown a few alocasias but they haven't done too well the past few years, I have a plant which is similar but does far better, it begins with x, cant remember the full name. And yes we've seen plenty around woodland areas, not sure if ours will come back, fingers crossed it does, the foliage is so unusual, really sets off that corner in your garden

Your photos, or should I say, the garden first, are stupendous. Would you tell me the range of your temperatures? All the artifacts, Props? are so perfectly harmonized with the planting. Neither too many, nor too obvious. You have "it" as they say over here.
