I knew sooner or later I would get one of these and when I saw one survivor at the garden center (the rest were dying from neglect) I had to take it home.

It is a nice variety, it is definitely my favorite Hibiscus. The band in the middle of the flower is actually red but showed up blue in this photo.

What a shame the others were left to die. They obviously didn't want to sell them! This one is gorgeous.
