BeautifuL!

They take 2-3 years to get going I find Hollyhock, but that may be because I sow directly in to the ground. Oddly they seem to like my clay, which I find a lot of so called Biennials dont?
I have rust badly on my deep pink one, but all I do now is remove the affected leaves - because I read somewhere that if you get it you get it! just remove unslightly leaves as it wont do any harm.
This one does not seem to have any really but this one and a couple of others are out in the full sun (the pink one is in semi shade) and that seems to help keep the rust down? I am going to look for the more rust free ones next time I sow some.
Thanks Pixi.

Great colour. Great name.

I find the rust is worse in semi shade, I have much less rust in full shade, just a thought Iansimmo. Thanks WL

WOW..Gorgeous colour, I have planted a couple this year but still waiting for a flower to appear!

They are biennials, I planted 2 last year no flowers yet this year so I hope to see them flower next year Lawley. I find on heavy clay biennials can take longer to get going.

Thanks Drc. I could be waiting a long time then! :-))

Well I think growing does take time Lawley but your efforts will be rewarded.
