pinks and labelia

these were a cutting from clarice who lives close to me, a member here, she took cuttings from a bunch of flowers i think, lovely though

Sandra your right i did, and mine are doing really good aswell, tried to do it with some more but seems only the pink take, dont know why.

Love pinks, so nice Sandra. Isnt Carol clever! Didnt know you could take cuttings from a bunch .... if you're there Carol, how and when did you do the cuttings :)

Sorry Dawn not been on here for a couple of days, i really don't feel to good, got no energy and keep wonting to sleep all the time, but i can't remember when i took the cuttings as when ever i got some i just took side shoots of the flower stem put the ends in rooting powder and kept planting round the hedge of a 5in pot, must say i did keep taking alot of cuttings some worked and alot did'nt , Sandra its just look that some took, anyway i'm not staying on here to day, i'm going to go and lay down, see you later. x

Hi Carol, sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather, poor you, like Sandra says, have you been working too hard? I've not been on properly for a few days so hopefully now you are feeling alot better.

Thanks for the advice on the cuttings - when I get some I'll give it a go.

Hi Dawn felt really rough, it was like a upset tummy feeling without the tummy upset and just felt so sleepy, felt alot better by Thursday, thankgoodness as i had a trip booked for Friday, good luck with the cuttings, dont know why but i did different colour cuttings, but the ones that took, when they flowered are all pink.

Hi Carol, pleased to hear you're OK now. Sounds horrible what you had, no doubt some sort of virus, I hate it when you dont feel like doing anything. Hope you enjoyed your trip on Friday and thanks for the info on the cuttings, like you say, weird how they all turn out to be pink. Hope the cats are OK :-)

Hi Dawn both cats fine hope you 2 are keeping well, i'm going to have a go with some different colours again, as it does'nt cost nothing when buying a bunch for indoors, and i've noticed they have flowered in the garden for weeks and weeks, let me know how you you get on.

hope your feeling ok now carol, my pinks are still going strong here, split them into two plants and really brighten the garden up.
