The new shoots of this plant are so different to when fully open...should take a picture and post it.

This plant is widely grown in here in San Diego...it can grow into a huge sprawling shrub to 8ft/2.3m tall. and much wider. I'm sure you've seen my photos.

Is it growing in the ground or in a pot?
