The palms are so small! lol! :>)

Do the palms grow any larger there? lol! I would think the Phoenix canariensis (Canary Island Palms) would be 80 or 90ft (24 or 27m) tall, like here.

Yes they grow very large here...these are babies.

I will do a Delonix walk one day and just take pictures of the trees and shrubs of Corfu and put it in a blog.

Yes, I like this area. It's the old part of the town.

I do take my dog for a lot of walks...however, I don't like to be out in the hot sun and my dog hates hot weather. I'm usually hiding in the shade of large trees with my big hat on. I look like a tourist with my big hat and camera. lol! :>)

I forgot to say: I'd love to see many more photos of Corfu!

Same here Delonix, I am trying to stay out of the scorching sun. Don't expect to see any pictures soon...temperatures still in the high 30's. BUT....there seems to be a storm brewing in the distance. (I'm hoping).

It's very hot here, too. It's suppose to cool down by this weekend...and I can't wait.

Goodness what a fortress! Reminds me very much of the old Maltese fortifications in Valetta.

A lot of countries tried taking over Corfu. Some stayed for a while....and some never made it. Some left behind some beautiful sights to see....and some only bad memories.
