Over here we call it the 'toad lily' Wells....I suppose because of the spots...don't really know! Trout lily sounds another likely common name, but I haven't heard it.

very exotic! we get toad lilies here in NZ, but not commonly seen. will have to check them out.

Is this also called Trout Lily? We have something that blooms in the fall, looks like an orchid, just beautiful and looks like this.
