Not a very clear pic as taken from inside..they would have flown off otherwise..I think the news has got round, that there is a mega pack of birdseed in the shed ! Lol.This is the Family of 10,and managed to get them all together..three on the feeder.and two in the tree as well....They are so lovely to watch..:o)

They are good at queuing arent they? They line up on the tree here and take it in turns to get on the feeder. Pretty mannerly actually..makes a change from Starlings! Great catch Bloomer.

I think that is where the expression 'Pecking order'comes from,Tet..as they know their place, don't they ? so well mannered...or scared ..probably the latter..:o)
14 Sep, 2011
Actually Bloomer, they remind me of a row of old ladies, chattering away, shifting up the queue...all they need are those scarves on their heads, like the turbans women used to wear in the 1940's! Lol! I wish I was good at drawing cartoons

Oh I remember my Auntie wearing one of those, and the ladies working in the mills...my mum never wore one..thank goodness...not the most flattering of head gear, but it covered the curling pins!!..those were the pits, weren't they? Lol.
15 Sep, 2011
Better still..they could be a queue of gaffers with flat caps on lol!
15 Sep, 2011
Well captured Sandra the posed beautifully for you;0)
15 Sep, 2011
Exactly Tet..Lol.
Shame I wasn't outside though..that would have been better..but they didn't pose for long ! :o) A bit like the Black necked swans we saw today, aren't they ? Bottoms up,every time we tried to catch them looking so graceful !
