think this is another case of mixed up labels Pansy. Still a very beautiful rose though. Shame we do not know its name. We shall have to troll the internet in search. lovely.

I think they must have done Carole it's def.not white but I love that colour and would be very happy with it ...:o)

Sorry to tell you PP but a Margaret Merril Rose is white tinged with a very slight hint of pink. I have one as do several members. there are lots of photos of it one here and the net. But its lovely so enjoy it anyway.

Lovely rose,but disappointing if you wanted a white one..
whu not mention it to the garden centre..they might give you the correct one..or do you think it's too late now ?

Thanks all, despite not being quite what I expected, I do love it and the inner petals are actually changing to a much paler colour now ;0)

Thats ok then Carole..you can now buy the correct M.Merril,or drop a hint to Harry for a festive present ? I don't think I am allowed to say C.......S yet ! Lol.
