After seeing this on a couple of members pictures, Amy and Karensusan, just had to have it, found the seeds on Chilterns and have 15 babies:-)

Thanks Amy, very easy to grow from seed they germinated in days, pricked out 18!!!! but could have had many more than that, I'm getting slightly better at not pricking out the whole lot, lol, they seemed to sit there not doing much for a while but last weeks warm weather gave them a growth spurt.

You are like a market garden Kathy, and all your young plants look so healthy. Must have been a fight resisting not to prick them all out, lol.

Oh I'd love to have a little business selling them Dawn, I'd be able to prick them all out then :-)

Well done Kathy, they do look very healthy and I do like it when they germinate quickly;0)

Lol Kathy, you could prick out all day. Pity we dont live closer, we could set up together and earn money from doing what we love!

I need a proper potting bench to stand at Kathy. Never seem to be able to get comfortable doing the pricking out.

Rob bought me a really nice one from Focus Dawn years ago, just the right height.
Thankyou Tetrarch, I have to stop myself overwatering too, them flippin scarid flies are about again, that time of year.

Do you use the bench alot Kathy, I must speak to my Hub about getting me one.

Dawn, I found a small plastic stand right height and depth and put a Gardman potting tray on top. Works really well both for potting and (when empty of compost) doing other jobs in it. The tray cost me less than £10 plus postage. Have a look around some second hand shops for a stand.

Yes Dawn use it all the time and I have one of those plastic potting trays on it that Tetrarch uses too, very handy :-))

Hi Tetrarch/Kathy - thanks for this info - didnt know those potting trays existed - just taken a look at them on Amazon - perfect shape, that was the shape I was thinking the actual stand had to be at the top. OK, I'm on a mission now :-) Sure husband can make me a stand at a bespoke height just for me.
