What a beautiful and cosy garden - I have only a small area of turf - makes it so cosy with the flowers all surrounding it - great way you have done this

Thanks everyone, much appreciated...this lawn was brown through the Hot Summer...OH gave it a feed and weed a few weeks ago, and it's sprung back to life now...
I like cosy Paul, now you know why I was so desperate to have the Parasol that would protect us from the extreme heat, so we could enjoy it...
:)))
I wondered when someone would ask about the 'hole' lol, it's where the original stand for the other parasol was sited...so OH has to get turf to fill it now...

NOOo put a plant in it!!!!!!!!!! lol see? I knew you had a wee space somewhere! :)

lol...OH wants his Pond still...so it looks like we're going to end up losing the nearest corner to the Camera...:)))

Hi Sylvia...thankyou...
Would appreciate your opinions on the dilema over 'Caramel' and 'Marmalade' Heucheras...please...

What a lovely secluded lawn area..lovely. The circle reminds me of my Malus 'Royalty' which had to be removed this year after the gale back in May.....no more Red leaves in the spring....perhaps I'll get one for the fence to next door! Have to find a spot for it somewhere!

Thanks Karen...In the very corner we have our Photinia Red Robin...and that's gorgeous when all the young red leaves start to appear...
Shame about your Malus...you'll miss that in Spring...

A lovely area, amazing considering the heat you have to contend with.

Looks lovely Crissue....was going to ask about the hole in the middle too but Pixi beat me too it.
I agree with Pixi....a plant would be nice :)

Hi J...I think I'm inclined to for this year at least, as it's only just gone in...Will you, or will you bring it under cover !!

Hi DD...being a frequent Visitor to France, you know the high temps we have here...and at times the Parasols go up to protect even the tough plants or else they crisp too..If I could plant above, I would lol...:)))
Hi Scottish, thankyou...it's not really big enough to have a plant in the middle...especially as OH has plans for the other corner...:)))
If I did, it would be something very tall like a Tree Fern, but it's too Hot, or a huge Palm...

Beautiful!

I agree J...better safe than sorry...
