Thanks Olive but they are talking of the wind changing to N.W. soon so I don't think it will be too long before winter starts.

I suppose we can't have mild weather indefinitely Olive , although it would be nice.

just heard the forecast - icy blast from the arctic brrrrrrrrr. next week. oh I am not ready for that yet.

When did you hear that Olive, because Paul Hudson on bbc weather changed his mind earlier and said the wind isn't going to change yet, so we may get a few more days.Each week that goes by is one less for winter. ( well I can hope!)

Think it was on this mornings forecast, knowing me I have misheard it, I hope so, do not need it cold just yet, too much gardening to do. lol. I agree every day it is sunny helps the dark nights pass a little quicker.

It could be on the change Olive as the wind is supposed to be going to the N.W , but like the weather , they keep changing their minds.I don't mind the cold as long as it is dry and I can get out in the garden.

Bear up girls, we got through last winter, so we WILL get through whatever the next one throws at us. Stiff upper lip and all that.

Yes Bredakelly if we got through that lot we can survive anything, - still not bad the weather, bit damper this morning we got some rain last night but not a lot so hopefully we have seen the worst of what was forecast for today. Just looked outside and it is raining, only spitting about but somehow I think it might just be worse this afternoon around 3 or 4 o'clock. Well my garden is grateful for it so I am not complaining. Off to do my shopping now before it starts up proper.

Oh I'm sure we will Olive and Breda, and even more so for me since I've joined goy.
