I like your path, with the large flag followed by the square flag as a diamond.

I've got some left over flags from laying a patio at the top of our garden and we've got just enough 600 x 600 and 900 x 600 flags to make a stepping stone path between our two patios (top and bottom of the garden).

Can't decide whether to go for a straight path or put the square flags as a diamond. Trying to visualise what this would look like straight down the middle of a lawn....

Think i'll have to lug the flags around to see what look i prefer....

Ashb I laid mine down on top of the grass first - straight and hated them so tried them in this way and loved them, much nicer than straight - quirky but ok. Thank you for looking and for enjoying. The flags were all different shapes and sizes so had to go with what I had been given. Another recycling job. I love it when people throw things out and I can use them. Have moved the furniture around again though for the summer - change is as good as a rest, the armchairs no longer in that place.
