I used to do that to my hubby - but he cottoned on to my manipulative ways! ha ha....

I usually say 'oh Keith, my best friend ...' and he asks me what I want doing - works every time (well it has so far)

That acer looks wonderful there M. How tall is it? - It looks really large. I like acers with their branches quite widely spread. I have even thinned one of mine out - its really old now (about 15yrs) I think it must be slightly bonsaied because its still only about 3ft high. Lovely and gnarly though!!!
