Wow.... I saw the other picture but this one really shows off the size and shape of the plant and how laden it is with berries. Soooooooo jealous. I want one now!!!

I would be so proud if this was in my garden Ml. I would do a special detour to see it. The berries last well in water too. I would cut some for the kitchen. Sorry if thats abhorrent to you - I cut most things!! This pic should definately go into goypedia. (I voted for it)

I am definately going to do a pyracanta next year. I want a nice straight stemmed one. I think they had some nice tall ones at Stonegreen nursery. So I can do a chop straight away. I have even thought where I'm going to put it - how sad is that!

Do cut a few of those callicarpa, they last really well in water. I nearly bought one at Dobbies today, but wasn't sure where to put it. I have many more slightly shady places than sunny ones sadly. I will have to look up what conditions they like.

A Pyracanta. The very thing as I have a vacant site which would be ideal for one - but then, a Callicarpa would be ideal too, especially if it was half as lovely as yours. Now, I wonder if they would both fit!!...
