its very nice.. does look like magnolia to me..

I have this one and it flowers exactly like that, lots of flowers next to leaves. Needs fertilizing and then it will flower twice in a season - it's beautiful ! There are many varieties of magnolia but this one is good because you can trim it and grow it as a small tree or leave it as it is and it will be a nice looking bush.

So it seems as if it is one of the magnolias? I never realised that a magnolia would flower on anything but bare wood, so I am being educated. Great! Now I will know what to look for, as I think this little tree is totally gorgeous.

I think this one will have to go into the garden somewhere Lincslass. I love magnolias but my OH doesn't like the way they flower on bare wood. This one is flowering along with the leaves & seems to be more of a large shrub than a small tree. it is flowering later than all the other magnolias I have seen in gardens.

We have Magnolia Susan too...but it's still quite young so only flowers once in Spring for us, and we have trained it as a Standard....
