Great colour, i have either that one or a similar one and i'm wondering when to dig mine up and move it because of the same problem. I'm guessing once loosing its leaves is the right time.

Bill I have just moved another dwarf Acer, it should be safe to do so now they have stopped growing and while the soil is still warm they should soon settle in for the winter ;0)
