I bought this from Harrogate flower show a couple of months ago, just a rosette of leaves at the moment, flowers next year hopefully.

No Brian, I didnt get your PM and I didnt get these remarks either! Most odd. Only found them when I noticed the number of likes! Anyway its more woody than ours Brian, bit more shrublike. Not fully hardy either. Needs very sheltered spot and fair amount of space (might have to grow in a pot and protect in the winter).
Yes Meanie, found in Cheddar Garden Centre..paid £10 for it and it was in full flower and about two and half feet tall with five big spikes.
Simbad Im thinking of creating a special bed just for this and the Tupa you sent me lol! They are both very architectural.
Thanks everyone.

It's beautiful....it will appreciate it's own special bed I'm sure :)

That's interesting - Cheddar is the same group as Lechlade Garden Centre.............

That is lovely,Tet..I'm sure it will look great in a bed of its own..:o)

Margo
Why not a roof extension, formed as a 20x10 glass house looking out over the garden with another 20x10 roof garden above .Like the one Lily2 and Bamboo visited, was it Kensington House?.
Always try to be helpful

Good grief, is that the price for planning permission these days? Or are you gently joshing me!

This is lovely. I've planted a few clumps of species foxgloves this year in my borders, similar colours to this, and so far none have flowered, but they are all growing well and I'm hopeful of flowers later in the summer. I love this one!

Its growing well Karen so if and when it flowers I will send you some seed. Both Simbad and Meanie have germinated some already so shouldnt be a prob.

Thanks Tetrarch, that's kind of you....do you know it's name at all...just in case I already have it..:)
