Heehee! This is where we go when I am allowed out of my box at the weekend! :)
It would be even nicer if the beach wasn't covered in plastic debris...

Actually, that's exactly what it's been like :(((
The lease on the other house arrived today, to start 1st Dec and we're getting another car tomorrow...so everything should be a lot better soon...

Heehee! Hi J!
Apparently more Nigerians are killed every year by falling coconuts than by road accidents...which, believe me, is VERY hard to believe!!!

Good grief! Those coconuts are deadly! Karen, it's great to hear from you again. We are off to St Lucia for a fortnight in January, so these photos have put me right in the mood! Beach House? Wow, lucky you! Oh, and it's 'Murder in Paradise' on the telly tonight too! :)))) You won't know about that...silly detective drama set in the caribbean. Now, how is that 'courtyard' coming along? ;))

You'll need to learn to climb the trees Karen :)
That little beach house looks like heaven.
Do these places have fresh or salt water for the pool and showers?
I can see myself lying there soaking up the sun with a book in hand....aw I need to stop thinking about it!!

Hi everyone! I think the locals call this Paradise Beach! It's VERY basic but it is lovely and you can have it for the day or the weekend - all to yourself! And the villagers look after your boat and fix the barbecue for you! :)))
The pool is ESSENTIAL as it's just so hot and I won't brave those waves!!! It's salt water from a well by the house, Scottish (which I prefer - cleaner and easier to float in!)
Oh, KS, I'm very envious...I love St Lucia. When we were there we hired a car and drove to Anse Cochon (Bay of Pigs). It's a small and perfect sandy cove, surrounded by rocks...the snorkelling is fantastic! (Or diving, if you fancy it)
You'll have a wonderful time, wherever you go! :)))))
You're so right, Bloomer, about the new house - I'm 'stir crazy' at the moment! But, there is a coconut palm right in the middle of the back garden - haven't discovered how the locals deal with them yet, tho', P!

If there is a coconut palm in the middle of the garden - you will defo need to learn how to climb it to get the coconuts down :))))....all that lovely white juicey flesh....slurp slurp slurp!!
