One of my top 5 - the photo really doesn't do her justice. This is one of Chris Stapeltons' acquisitions from one of his China trips. Very hardy as it matures - as a young plant she was cut to the ground last winter - but as the weather warmed she shot away with new culms reaching over 10ft, all with a blue lustre which lasts well into the second year. Clump forming with potentially very thick culms! - what could be better??
