These trees are still blooming. They start blooming in August and bloom through November. Photo taken in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. on Nov. 14, 2011. Posted for Alexandramou.

Driad:
Fall is the time of year when many of the interesting tropical/subtropical trees start blooming here in San Diego.
Nasturtiums are just starting to grow, they won't bloom until winter, though. They grow wild in many areas.

This looks lovely ; well worth the space . For a change , this year at present there are nasturiums still in full bloom and cosmos , althouhg a bit jaded . The mock castor- oil is still in blossom attracting some sort of very busy flying things [feeding on the nectar ]. The first frosts have not hit us yet , that is why .
