they are striking flowers and lots of them. so they dont mind the heat in the kitchen??

Beautiful. Orchids are one of my favourite plants & I have a very large book which is devoted entirely to them & some amazingly full-page photos. Will have to see if this one is there.

Kasy/Sticki - I struggle to bring them to bloom in the kitchen, although once in bloom they seem happy enough to be moved there.

my orchids are in the lounge.

Very nice Meanie. Three of my Phalaenopsis have two flower spikes each, one of them from last years spike!!! It looks like they are going to bloom at the same time!

You need to work on the humidity then Sticki!

Your kitchen basically sounds ideal Kasy. Phals are pretty tolerant on temps - my problem is that I'm not tolerant on temps!

hehe - me too Meanie - I work outside all day long - so when I am coming home I like nice high temperatures... lol. The kitchen would be ideal - if only it was bigger, lol.
