It is isn't it. It's my favourite flower in the Spring. I always feel very lucky if it escapes frost damage as it did this year.
As you can tell, I'm new to this and have just copied the same photo twice... Oh well.

Now that is a camelia! Wish I had room in my garden for one - sigh! the colour is so gentle - lovely.

We've got three camelias. One has a white flower which usually gets spoilt by frost and the other has a smaller deep pink flower. This is my favourite though and being in a sheltered spot close to the house it rarely lets us down :-)

Wow.....fabulous flower and pic....such a lovely shade of pink I would love one of these....do they like shade or sun Joannie? I know they have a problem with early morning sun.
