I did make them from scratch once - mincemeat and everything - but was so heavy handed with the brandy that they were alcoholic...

Might make sausage rolls though! (in the new house!)

I jsut bought mincemeat from Asda tho didnt make my own! :)

Delia's quick flaky pastry, Pixi - grate a load of frozen butter into some salted flour, mix with water, put in the fridge a while then roll out and wrap around whatever sausages/ sausagemeat you like! Delicious but - a moment on the lips and all that.....! lol! :)

I jsut made pinwheels...rolled out puff pastry sheet and spread with mincemeat..then rolled..only all of it came out the sides and its totally messy! But then dust with icing sugar too..thye taste good but :)

Pinwheels are jsut mince pies done in a fancy way with jus roll pastry and mincemeat lol. Will have to make more and take a pic hhaha/
