This was in a pot outside all summer and sprouts shot up a few inches this fall after a warm spell. I meant to have it planted this summer but I guess it was a fortunate mistake because now I have a Spring flowering plant open for Christmas.

Always lovely to see and smell these, mine are only about two inches tall.

Mine was only a few inches tall about 3 weeks ago, I was amazed at how quickly it shot up and opened!
The smell is amazing! There's something special about having Spring fragrance indoors during the winter. Hyacinth and Daffodils are nice bulbs to force indoors, they both last 2-3 weeks too :). My Maid of Orleans Jasmine has new flower buds now too. Dropped all it's leaves when I brought it inside to winter so good to see it coming back. They usually bloom monthly inside or out and the fragrance is outstanding.

I shall keep watching mine ~ they are indoors in a pot, I agree about the spring fragrance, so fresh and lovely to see signs of new life.
