First Snow

Just lovely. I love the snow still perched in the branches. First snow just days before Christmas, how wonderful.

There's no escaping the diurnal round...the older I get the faster time flies! ..so having said that I think I shall sit
back with a cuppa and watch the procession! lol...We are enjoying a mild winter so far this year..and saying that, I'm touching wood. This early snow brings lighter times after the darkness of November and early December and nature's decoration is protective of my plants, so I shouldn't complain, aye?
Hello Junna... you are new to goY? I'm sure it's quite warm in the Philipines at present, and by contrast, we are VERY cold. Winter has it's benefits to our gardens here, it gives the plants time to rest and strengthen for the next growing season and it controls some pets and plant diseases...and it gives gardeners a season to stay indoors where it's warm and plan the next garden! Having said that, I must add that I'd really like to experience a year in the tropics! Welcome to goY from me...I like this site very much and I'm sure you will find plenty of ideas and entertainment here.
