Lots of water in the stream

This is very pretty, would like to be walking along the side of here.

Lovely. What would it be to have a stream in the back yard? In this deep dark cold this looks so refreshing...I might even wade...lol.

Hello GoY friends! I've been busy shovelling snow. Winter has arrived. We had our first thaw in the first week of this month and by the weather predictors we are to have another within five days! So far our winter has been mild ...but having said that I cringe to think what could be visited upon us come March. Alas!
This little stream runs downhill from a farm above us so I'm not tempted to taste the water, Sandra, but know what you mean...if only it was not used as a wading pool for piggies! lol....
the first fresh snow makes everything look pristine...I love it. If only it was a spring, Homebird! I know that the source of the stream is a small pocket lake above us and this stream tends to dry up in the late summer. If it was a proper spring I would rejoice, but since it comes from another source I must be careful using it on veggies because of possible coliform content. That means that my old source of water for my garden in the dry times is my well..and there is plenty of demand upon that from the household usage...ah me...I'm trying to figure a way to filter it as it arrives from above but so far I'm daunted by the sheer weight of work involved. wish me luck?! lol...
