Eranthemum pulchellum - Blue Eranthemum, Tropical Blue Sage

Words for this.....gorgeous and want to acquire it!!!

I love it, too! I had been wanting one for a long time. They're usually available at the nurseries during summer and fall and winter (as it's a winter-bloomer). I purchased this one at my friend's nursery, Kartuz Greenhouses about 3 months ago.

I would guess it makes a good indoor plant, also. However, I would never grow this plant indoors because it would be infested with bugs very quickly, here in San Diego.

We've just watched the film "Traffic" - do you know it? I was wondering how much of the San Diego scenes were actually shot there?

Yes, I think I saw it many years ago. I believe some scenes were filmed in La Jolla.

You're welcome. I think most of places in the movie were filmed up in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles.

La Jolla is a beautiful area where many movie stars hang out. This is probably why it was filmed there.
