Thanks Sticki, and Grandmage..it seems to thrive on neglect..it has only started flowering since we moved here, which was 10 years ago,yesterday..so it must be a position it likes better..:o)

Thank you Hywel..it is in the Conservatory,so it gets extremes of temperatures..very hot in summer, and very cold in winter..I do put it outside a lot in summer though.
I wonder if the cold stimulates it to flower ? it would be nice to know why it is a hit and mostly miss plant,as regards flowering...

I bought a crassula on a bike trip near Glastonbury eons ago. On a table outside someone's house with an honesty box. I gifted it to my parents and years later (like yours) it suddenly put up an extraordinary pink flower tower :)

Mine was a cutting from a friends plant, originally and it has had lots more from it ,over the years..We had a charity coffee morning once, and sold 10 at £1 each..besides ones done for family..so a very good freebie,Servernside :o)
Thanks Paul, and Terra..It's a much loved plant, despite me treating it mean, and keep cutting it back now and then ! :o)

Wow! Is your plant 20 years old? A 20 year old jade plant here would be around 8ft/2.5m tall.
Jade shrubs are blooming everywhere here, now.

Yep it sure is about that age,Delonix..They would never grow so big here, under normal house conditions..and if mine gets bigger,it looks very straggly,so I cut it back about every 2 or 3 years,to keep it bushy. It has a very thick trunk and branches though..I suppose you could say,I have made it into a kind of Bonsai ! Lol. ..I bet they all lovely in bloom :o)
