Thanks TT, yes gone but not forgotten, Hywel i always find it hard to get them to flower again, I will try though. Thanks Sheilar & Paul and Hb. I will do just that and give it a go, they are in the sink at mo. having a nice drink!

It should be ok,Grandmage..and a lovely two tone..I always cut my stems off to the bottom,as I've never had any success cutting them to a lower bud...they just don't grow from that point again for me...lucky you Homebird..:o)

Stick at it Grandmage. Once you work out where in the house they are happiest you'll be sorted!

B. you sound just like me, i usually send mine to bring & buy at our choir because they never re-flower, but I hear you all, Hb. & Meanie, will try....... Lol

Maybe you don't wait long enough,G.mage ? .Mine is about 6 months before I see that first little stem appearing again....north facing window would be ideal,if you have one..have a look at a blog by Spritzhenry,2009,called 'Awkward Orchids'..she is an expert on them..lovely pics too..:o)

Know what you mean Bilbo, same here really, I always look after them when in flower, then I give up and give them away!!
