This one was also in the EDP David ! I would have like to have gone to see it but wasn't sure what those roads would be like out there, have you tried the little fish and chip shop at Salhouse along the coast road ? it's only open in the summer months they make them fresh while you wait and are amazing ...

now that sounds well worth a visit!!!

Definitely Sticki .. I little further along the same road is a place where you can have crab salads ,it's only a tiny hut but so popular that people take their own table chairs etc and then sit on the village green to eat ,lovely on a hot day with a walk on the shingle beach afterwards ...

What a lovely picture you've just painted in my mind Amy! It seems like another planet or heaven to think of village greens on a long hot day!! Roll on spring.....

You must try it if you are ever in Norfolk in the summer Poppy / Sticki , it's very much a Rick Steine kind of place where it's all about good food ..

definitely on my list then, thank you amy! any more places to put on my list will be gratefully received!!

OH My goodness ! I've made a terrible blunder , I've just realized that Mushy said Salhouse which is outside Norwich and I've been describing places at Salthouse near the coast ,sorry girls ~~ Salthouse is the one you want for the fish and crabs .......

Salthouse is the next village on from Cley next sea Mushy , go out of Cley past the windmill keep straight on that road you can't miss it ... Cley has a marvelous smoke house also a yummy delicatessen called the picnic box , it's a favourite thing to do in the summer when going for a walk to stop there buy some goodies to eat up on the downs .. perfect ...

Make a day of it Mushy , you will find an interesting garden centre hidden up on Kelling heath called EMCY ( I think that's how it's spelt ) there's not a lot in the way of plants but so much other stuff to do with gardening and quite cheap as well ... we found it once and then got hopelessly lost trying to find it the next time we went that way :o)

Palmate, that's incredible! I've never seen nor experienced any like this ever! WOW!!!

Palmate
no i have never seen anything like this before .I guessing what happened was the snow was melting during the sunshine in the day and as it is quite exposed there refroze over night possible 2/3 times over the next few days and resulting in this splendid show :o))
