i love the yellow one, a bit special i think.

it wasnt cheap! I didnt dare tell OH how much I spent on this one. but it has coe through the last 2 harsh winters unscathed. And its getting bigger year on year too.

so far mine hasnt produced any baby ones.

Ladies its worth running a soft brush across a few flowers to help spread the pollen,my yellow one did not set on its own but responded to the brush then the tricky bit is collecting them.

some of my white hellebores produced little seedlings with no help at all, they were coming up through the paving slabs!!

That is a little beauty , I love that colour ,so unusual :o)

Yes strange, my white one also sets loads on its own.

Do you think that means they are happier?

I indulged in the soft brush technique last year with no success. I wonder if it is self sterile. some plants wont accept their pollen at all whilst others will towards the end of the flower if no cross pollination has occured. But i will give it another go this year too.
