Thank you all, my camera is a Fuji HS10 Sticky, its a compact with 30x zoom, (im not a fan of carring lots of lenses around) I think there is a HS20 out now which I assume is a bit better. :o)

i have just discovered my camera has a setting to improve the zoom, didnt realise but im very pleased, i dont want to have to carry extra lenses round either!!

I have these PH .. they come in gangs ,they feed in my garden but then usually nest in a berberis bush next door , it's not fair !

Had a group of these yesterday for the first time in a while. You got them really well there.

Fabulous pic Planta, my favourite small bird, like the others, we get flocks of them passing through the garden, never staying long enough though....:((
