Your garden looks like you've put plenty of work into it. It would be nice to have pictures of the individual plants over the summer. Is that an Acer up by the table & chairs?

Yes Severnside its taken about 4 years to get to this stage so were looking forward to it maturing even more in the years to come. Oh and they are both Japanese Acers at the top on the patio :-)

Gardens are like planting a complex green timebomb of delayed gratification. Stage one is probably what you've seen where plantings stop looking planted, stage two is when cohesion and possesion by the plants of their corners takes place. I'm about to enjoy year 2 of stage 1 lol.
What are the bigger trees you have?

I couldn't of said it better myself Severnside! I have a couple of plum trees but I'm not sure what the others are, I also have woods at the end of the garden as well. I'll have to put the some photos of them on here and maybe someone will tell me!
Hi Terratoonie, yes that is my beautiful cat shes called Rosie :-)

Beautiful, now the snow has gone we can really see it :)

my garden is also on a slope but the opposite way round from yours, we also have trees at the top of the garden. unfortunately the trees and the slope mean we dont get much sun!

Same here far too many trees down the bottom and middle but its still nice, I can't complain I always wanted lots of trees in my garden and now I have them and they do encourage lots birds and other wildlife :-)

i like the trees too, these dont belong to us though ~ if they did there might be a few less just so i could see a bit of light!!!
