Beatrix Potter For BJS and Kat

These are interesting Amy, are they prints or originals......we really enjoyed our visit last year to her house and garden in the Lakes, lovely to see these....:)

I,m sure they can't be original Janey I found them stacked in a box on the market yesterday , I asked the boy in charge where they came from he said they had cleared a house out on the coast and that these were on the walls , there were several others I bought 2 for .50p each , the other frame I bought has 4 letters on it .. not a very good photo i'm afraid they are framed in a kind of perspex box that made the photo shine back , I will probably reframe them to make a nice picture ........

Mmmm, well you never know, and letters too, you got them for such a snip!

i think you ought to show them to an expert, it couldnt hurt.

i have a few books with beatrix potter sketches in them they would be worth a huge amount i think if they are genuine ~ so dont get rid of them!!!

beatrix potter used to stay in a house somewhere in suffolk, you never know ~ those could be hers.

They are interesting , they are not really letters Pp they are pages from the stories with little pictures on the pages I will put a photo of them on for you to see ...

Amy, one or two scetches from Leonardo da Vinci were found in flee market by accident and Dead Sea Scrolls were used by shepherds for setting bonfires during cold night with sheeps. Extraordinary things have extraordinary stories.

I 'm not sure Sk . i'll keep my eyes and ears open ...Kat it would be wonderful but i'm afraid nothing like that ever happens to me ;o(

You never knows. Those scetches looks like originals. Will upload my photo now and tell you my story. It is also extraordinary :)

you never know...stranger things have happened at sea..i have 2 old..ugly mugs(as i call them) they were my mothers who had ..had them for at least 50yrs someone gave them to her..i would love to know if they are treasure or trash..they are both left handed & quite strange..

Amy, is it right she wrote a book "Peter Rabbit" or so? I would like to see those photos of rabbits. Here is one in the right corner, I like it :) Was that book painted by her?

Yes Kat BP did write a book called , The tales of Peter Rabbit ... she did all the drawings herself ... there has been a film made of her life recently called ... Miss Potter ... her character being played by Zoe Wanner...?...

I hope you get to the bottom of this mystery, we are great fans of Beatrix Potter I used to read the stories to our children, and our youngest daughter has bought all the books for her children, it would be wonderful if these illustrations were genuine, stranger things have happened........do keep us posted.

They will Amy, if not re-send it, thats what i do sometimes and it joggs memories and then you get results!
