Hellebore - pale pink with dark pink speckles

I love these Karen. thev'e seeded themselves at the shady end of my border, and this year put on a good display. Like you say it takes a while for them to bloom.

Worth the wait Dorjac. I try to get the flower heads off before they start seeding around as the seedlings are really hard to get out of the ground if you leave them too long. The really like to get a good grip!

Its a difficult bit of the border to garden successfully so I don't mind them seeding. Although I have removed some today. They are very slow from seed but a decent sized one in a 1 litre pot can be pricey. They were £14 a pot at an RHS garden we visited recently.

Oh yes, I can believe that! The new ones ...like the Harvington doubles..tend to be at least that price. That's why I limit myself to one per year! This year I bought the double Apricot. Last year the single apricot, year before the double yellow. :)
