Fruit tastes so lovely straight off the tree , doesn't it Mark ?
I had about 12 cherries and 20 plums off my young trees , and I was very pleased !(It doesn't take much )
There is an almond tree along the road from us in full blossom , with lots of last years fruit still on , and they are proper full-sized nuts .
I used to think of peaches and almonds as Mediterrean .

Hi Driad lol the fruit certainately does taste good.I think it makes the fruit taste better when you think to yourself i have grown these and put all the hard work in and not brought them from a supermarket already done.I am really impressed with hows its coming on though.:))))

Hi Katarina i dont think its too early for it to be blooming as im sure it was about this time last year it started then.I think the nice weather is helping a lot over here as it certainately asnt been as cold as previous years:))))

Hi Amy and Pimpernel unfortunately my peach tree caught peach leaf curl which is a terrible fungus so i have had to cut it all back to try and control the fungus as it got it quite badly. So unfortunately no crop now this year i am just hoping the tree will survive.:((((
