It's great when a room really works, no matter how carefully you plan some are never quite right, but that looks so beautifully light but also welcoming and cosy.

Wow, what a beautiful big conservatory. I wouldn't be without mine either PP. We have had Christmas lunch in here a few times as well. It's especially nice when there's snow on the ground. You have a really special one there though.....I thought it was from a magazine until I read the comments!

Thanks for all your lovely comments, it is lovely and comfy and light, Harry has done so much work on it to bring it upto its present condition, when we were first viewing the house the estate agent said that we would be better to take the Conservatory down as it was in such a delapidated state, but glad we didnt wouldnt be without it now;0))

Typical of our society..just knock it down...too much effort to be bothered with. What a transformation then PP! :))

I can't remember who said it ( it wasn't me ) but something about if you have a couple of Pampas grasses,it's supposed to signify the owners are swingers !

I know they were only out during the day, but it has been cold!!

I agree,such a bitter wind,Carole..mine have been out for a very short time today,in between the heavy showers..and had to repot a few,as that first lot of compost was rubbish !..water just ran straight through ..although they seem to be growing ok,I wasn't happy with it ...

Yes been glad of the conservatory today , it has been sunshine, Cold winds and heavy showers, much better indoors ;0))

Mine too,Carole..the wind is whistling through the plastic growhouse now,as the wind has ripped it away from the zip,on one side..all fleeced up,just in case :o(..luckily,just overwintered plants in ,so don't think it will be a problem...
