That is a lot further on than mine, we have a frost this morning!

I think it flowered about this time last year..It was covered for a day and then stripped bare by strong winds. I was gutted.

Cold but no frost this morning Nana...They have Just said Snow again for tonight here.

Crikey Pimp, I didnt realise you had snow. The postmen around here have their shorts on already! I hope your wisteria withstands the cold harsh weather you are having. That fleece could be really handy!

Fingers crossed for the wisteria.
Sleet here today, snow forecast for tomorrow here, too :o(

It's been sunny here ! our Wisteria took it's time flowering Pp but once it started it has been fabulous ,full of blossom each year , fingers crossed for yours :o)

Oh I hope it flowers for you!! I've had one for 8 years and it has never flowered. It had a couple of large flower buds and a frost in May killed them. I took it out on the plant and chopped it's head off. It put lots of growth on all through the summer - so maybe I'll be lucky this year. If not it will be a complete gonner by end of June!!!!

Ruthless approach Scottish...Thankfully I love the leaves as much as the flower, but they can be bl@@dy frustrating.

love these Pp...

My Wisteria isn't as far ahead as yours Pp. I've just repotted it into a huge pot. Have had it for a good few years and it's moved from house to house at least 4 times! And it has never complained!

Will hope that you have your thermals on if you are going to protect it as Lil has ordered lol:)

Lets see if he answers your instructions Deb..... ;)

Northern Lads don't wear thermals...!!! ;))

Lol, figures you respond to the underwear comment. Knew I was being too subtle ;))) as usual ;)))

Our wisteria is about at the same stage, which seems very early to me. We usually have to wait until the beginning of May to get to the "wall covered in blossom" stage. At this rate it'll happen in about a couple of weeks. Always worth the wait though. Is this yours, Pim? You should know Lil, that although Northern lads don't wear thermals, they are also idiots, who have chilblains in places a lady doesn't mention.
I LURVE my wisteria, but I have to say that in order to get that week or two of scented brilliance in May, you have to put up with a whole mess of fallen leaves everywhere for the rest of the year. Darned nuisance.

Thanks for the heads up Gattina...... ;)

I said "Northern Lads don't wear Thermals" not that they went Commando.

I still maintain that lots of you ARE idiots. I've seen you all, sauntering round the Arndale centre in the middle of Manchester, wearing short-sleeved t-shirts in the middle of November. You all think it makes you look "Well 'ard" (Well, P., not you personally, you understand, just Mancs in general - and lads, not lasses).

Lasses all over this nation are out all hours, in little more than Goosebumps..from november to New year.

This is true, P. I stand, if not corrected, enlightened......I shouldn't criticise, I wore one of the first minis. (But not in the snow)
