I can;t understand why everyone isn't rushing out to buy this (no I don't have shares) fantastic plant. It flowers for ever and is such a delicate shade that I have to keep putting pics on:-))

Good grief, I sound like an evangelist! Bornagain seems almost appropriate lol:-) I'm the same about Consall Hall Gardens which everyone should look at in my blog to look at the link to a tele program about it in 2007 which I've put on. It shows how it was an industrial landscape (coal mining and something else which I've forgotten) and all the stages until it became the beautiful 70 acre garden it is today. I think it's only 50 or so years old. Its creator worked alongside Sir Frank whittle, he's an amazing man, in his 90's when the program was made:-)

I'd keep my foot in the door until you did. I do get the odd crush Bloomer, possibly campanulas this year :-)

Which day are you going Sheila? I think you told me, but i've forgotten lol:-)
28 Apr, 2012
We'll be there on the Thursday, Ba . . . and you'll be there on the Saturday. I won't buy up ALL the plants - there'll be a few left for you, promise!
29 Apr, 2012
No Sheila, change of plan, Stroller is kindly giving me a lift on Friday. Sticki and Poppylover and others will be there too on the Friday. Maybe you could hide out in the toilets or something overnight and we could have a proper GOY meeting? :-) Did I say it was Hardy's Plants selling t.tangerine?
29 Apr, 2012
That's a shame Ba. I think hiding out would stretch OH's patience . . .we're having to stay in a B&B on the Wednesday night as it is. Thanks, I'll look out for Hardy's Plants, and have fun y'all!

Thanks Wr, it was only out of flower for about 3 weeks last year. I don't know if that is the norm, as last year was its first full year with me, and it was an odd year. It's full of flower now:-)
