Never knew that was what it was called, thankyou. But, same here. Tried and tried to get this established with no luck. And yet, all around ..... everywhere ..... in the scrappiest gardens......
On the other hand, I have the tall purple toadflax seeding itself everywhere (I tolerate a certain amount for the bees) and my friend can't get bits of mine to take in her garden.
Isn't it odd?

Same here Oji....Regular toadflax everwhere...All the neighbours have this little gem..i love the blood red leaf edge and stem, the flower is as good (almost) as a violet.

What do you think our problem might be, Pimpernel? ( and I don't mean in general!)

I will try to get seed and do the wallpaper paste mix trick and smear them into cracks in the mortar.. what do you think? Worth a try.

its middle name is probably 'perverse' so maybe it will only grow where you dont want it???

Definitely worth a try, Pimpernel. It won't seed for a while yet?
