John's honey is lovely though and I have it on a spoon as it is meant to help keep away hay-fever symptoms.

He sells a lot of it and gives some away - he enjoys it though!!!

It's my husband who knows all about the bees. His father used to keep bees and John got the interest from him as well as lots of his equipment.

I just say 'Hello' to them on my way to hang out the washing at the end of the garden!!

been in a daft mood lately,Sheila :o) must be the sunshine ! Lol..all change tomorrow it seems so it could be :o(

Nothing wrong with a daft mood Bloomer . . . goes well with the daft weather! We got v. chilly on the croquet lawn this afternoon (I was wearing 3 sweaters, and a dear friend of 85 years said she was wearing 7 layers!!), and felt the occasional cold raindrop, and now the sun's shining and the sky's blue. Lovely to see - just wish it would stay awhile :))

Oh my,that was chilly,Sheila..no coat here today..for a change.! Been getting a few pots ready for planting up,top dressed all the acid loving shrubs,and lots of bits and bobs in between..OH has been rounding tops of fencing,and a gate he is making for our daughters house..to keep the 'little terror' safe from the road..all done,and ready to put up..if it's not raining ! ..a very satisfying day....but cream crackered now..both of us! Lol.
