i just had a wonderful day ~ you wouldnt believe how good it is to mess with coloured glass, chat with a good friend, be out in the countryside along with 3 wonderful dogs and have a fabulous lunch.

Sticki That is great, Where did the design idea come from,
is that a piece of slate you used for the base,

out of my head brian and then lulu showed me how to make it work and yes it is a piece of slate ~ left over from when they made the door step but much too nice to throw away.

That is absolutely brilliant Sticki did you cut all the glass or use the nipper thingy??

um, i dont know what all the tools are called and lulu helped with lots of the cuts, i used a stylus type thing that scored the glass and then something that looked like pliers to grip it and break it. there was a larger tool that could snap pieces off but i wasnt very good with that.
i loved doing it nana, i have always loved glass.

What a fab day it sounds to have been Sticki...isn't it great when you enjoy the same stuff...hoping to see it grouted.....will it be grouted??..lol.

Yes Janey, it is grouted, it's on my photos.

It is really good to like the same things, and that includes so many things, being out in the country, gardens, plants, lovely dogs, good food, music, drums, etc!
