Beautiful colour Neelan...This is planted near the compost bin in a very sheltered spot...I put it there 'cause i was afraid of loosing it, i have a few seedlings growing from its seed so i can try it in a more open spot....

Beautiful indeed Hywel...wish they lasted a bit longer though....As long as its alive Simbad...give it a good mulch with compost this Autumn and keep it moist during the Summer....:>)

Thanks Meanie...cant believe it has survived...3 years now...Freesia, its a Himalayan Poppy, so you're right....I bought it at a local flower show called Hillsborough, its on again this weekend, but i wont be able to make it.:<(...i actually bought 2, my sister has the other one, doing well for her..:>)

Didnt flower its first year Sticki, but flowered last year and this year...:>)

hmm mine flowered last year but no sign of a bud this year

I dont know why that is Sticki, if there is plenty of green growth on it, then we know its alive, did you feed and mulch it after flowering last Spring?....

yes i did, there are plenty of healthy leaves on it.

Ok....I have 'sheldonii' ...it developed lots of leaves before the buds appeared....

mine is a different type, im fairly sure, will have another look tomorrow
