Yea it was Pansy. We set the hedge bare rooted in the January and when it came into leaf in late Spring, it was a shock to see one copper amongst all the green.

Thanks all , yes Sticki it does go green ,it's odd really isn't it ,it would be nice to stay this copper colour .. ~~ Oh Dawn I remember you planting that hedge what will you do will you leave the copper or try to replace it ?

Beautiful. I remember seeing a big beech hedge at ST Andrews Botanic garden and there were coppers in amongst the green...looks wonderful!
