You really do find very unusual plants, Karen. This is really pretty and a lovely colour.

It has gorgeous yellow flowers in the late summer/autumn Wilma. Lovely thing really.

Yes, it seems strange that it isn't more popular because it is a very beautiful elegant plant, but perhaps it is because of the mildew!

Or maybe it is because no-one can pronounce the name. :o)

Picked this up in the nursery the other day to ask what it was as I liked the foliage. Ended up buying it - what a coincedence you have shown it today!

Good choice Scottish. Might take a year or two to really get going, but you will get some flowers this year I'm sure. Watch out for mildew.

You weren't wrong about the mildew Karen - it's not even been here 1 fulll week! Tried out Bamboo's milk remedy today.

It hasn't taken all the mildew away - but it has certainly stopped it in its tracks (for now).

Good news.....perhaps you could do a blog on it?
